I have been a part of Canada’s leading commercial real estate financing team for the past 11 years, originating more than $1 billion in commercial mortgages across western Canada. First National Financial is Canada's largest non-bank lender, originating, underwriting and servicing both residential and commercial mortgages. As the number one lender of CMHC commercial mortgages, First National currently has more than $100 billion in mortgages under administration.During the past decade, I have witnessed market evolution nationwide and advised on a multitude of commercial real estate developments. In the past several years, many of our clients have shifted their focus to multi-family development, which has become an area of specialization for us. By adapting to the market and the changing focus of our clients, we are helping them establish or grow their portfolios according to their business strategies.
