• Acted as the PMO for the company’s completed 4MW and 10 MW ground-mounted solar energy projects. Implemented KPIs to monitor installation progress, optimise resource utilisation, and enhance cost management. Proactively engaged in value engineering to minimise defects and rework during implementation, strategically targeting a reduction in operational maintenance cost.• Deployed a change management plan to facilitate the transition from 1MW to 4MW and 10MW scale. Revamped the construction approach, raising risk awareness due to increased complexity and interdependence between activities and resources. Established robust contingency measures for potential risk events due to inclement weather conditions and vendor & contractor delays. Contingency planning through maintaining buffer stocks, optimising cash flow, and implementing fixed price contracts.

Hydropower projects• Successfully led a team of eight in the E&M scope planning and installation of a 4.4MW hydropower project. • Executed E&M scheduling, contingency planning, and delay impact analysis. This ensured seamless coordination of foreign vendor engineers’ site visits, efficient contractor mobilisation, and resource levelling requirements for the E&M work.• Led the E&M implementation by prioritising the critical activities, effectively communicating with the vendors and contractors, and liaising requirements with the civil construction team. • Tracked progress against the established baseline, optimising resource utilisation to manage cost variance and mitigate risk. Initiated timely progress updates to higher management with schedule variance reports.Solar power projects• Delivered five successful 1MW green field ground-mounted Solar power projects. Led an eight-member construction team, ensuring schedule adherence through proactive monitoring and control. • Managed to bring down the overheads significantly and optimise the resource utilisation level by refining the data-driven decision-making processes within the team. This ensured enhanced transparency in communication amongst the key stakeholders, fostering a culture of efficiency and collaboration. • Served as the critical point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. Effectively managed the construction challenges and alterations to the contractors' scopes and reported timely project updates to major shareholders.

Hydropower projects• Led the E&M scope installations of two hydropower Projects, 2.8MW and 6.5MW. Guided a team of eight in collaboration with the vendors and contractors throughout implementation to achieve set milestones and communicated the upcoming requirements to the civil construction team to seamlessly continue work without disruption. Monitored progress of E&M scope against the baseline until project closure, skillfully managing cost variances and mitigating schedule delays through resource levelling and strategic resource ramp-up. • Successfully completed a 24km dedicated 33kV double circuit transmission line, interconnecting the company’s two hydropower plants (4.4MW and 6.5MW) with the nearest grid substation. In the planning stages, with coordination with the utility company, negotiated with landowners for local council approvals and set the groundwork for project initiation. Throughout implementation, closely tracked progress, evaluated resource utilisation levels, and assessed work quality. Provided critical feedback on potential bottlenecks and coordinated work with key stakeholders, utility company, landowners, and contractors. • Navigated challenges during the pandemic by leading the operation and maintenance team in conducting significant repairs on the 2.8MW turbine runner adjustment mechanism (replacement of servo rod, coupling and the runner adjustment hydraulic piston) in-house, complying with vendor’s safety and quality standards without requiring vendor's physical intervention due to travel restrictions. This proactive approach minimised downtime and prevented a significant loss of revenue for the company.

Hydropower projects• Assisted in finalising feasibility studies through actively engaging in site-specific engineering surveys (borehole testing, soil testing, topography surveys, data collection for hydrology and river backwater analysis, etc.) and land identification to finalise the design and refined the BOQ of the E&M scope to 90% accuracy through obtaining offers. • Engaged in the project’s environmental impact assessment (EIAR) process by working closely with the consultants for requirement gathering (for sociology, ecology, and geology reports) as per the TOR issued by the governing body (Central Environmental Authority) to mitigate the impact.
