I work as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at Amrita Vishwa Vidapeetham, Chennai campus in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. I hold a Ph.D. in Electronics from Vellore Institute of Technology (2024), an M.E in VLSI Design from Anna University (2013), and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (2008). Before Joining as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai in September 2021, I worked as an Assistant Professor (Jr) at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai Campus. Before that, I had worked as a Project Associate in a DRDO project under Dr. V.Kamakoti in RISE Lab at IIT Madras, Chennai.My work focuses on studying the carrier dynamics of charge carriers in different semiconducting materials and thereby exploring the possibilities of modeling high-performance and longer retention memory devices. In collaboration with Dr.Kaustab Ghosh (my PhD supervisor), Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, I and my team (Ms. Greeshma & Mr.Pranav) are exploring the electronic properties and electrical characteristics of graphene nanoribbons. Along with Dr.Sarathchandran, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai, We (Myself, Dr.Ganesh Kumar, Mr. Sai Pavan & Mr. Tharunkarthik) are involved in developing a graphene-silver hybrid nanocomposite sensor for detecting bio-contaminants in wastewater along with a few other exciting research works.
