Relationship manager, business catalyst, single point of contact and all round problem solver for Microsoft's Volume Licensing business in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, I was involved with the process from one end to the other; from delivering training in new programs and systems, to advising on contract structure and execution during the negotiation process, to personally monitoring high-revenue contracts as they landed at the EMEA Operations Centre in Dublin to be processed and billed. Only in-role for a short stint before taking the opportunity to travel, work and volunteer in South-East Asia and Australia, my biggest win was helping the West Africa region achieve target revenue, no mean feat considering the global financial climate of FY09. My role involved a great deal of travel around Europe, working at the go-live coal face of a project to centralise Microsoft’s outsourced payroll functions. Ensuring quality and accuracy in the payroll data, mapping new processes, training up and handing off to the newly formed mid-office function in Prague, I managed key stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds and languages, at all levels of business.

At this level I took a number of different roles over the following years, my job evolving as the project progressed.
