I have a passion for mixology and bartending is my chosen profession. I take pride in exemplary guest service and building cocktails to perfection. My colleagues and employers would describe me as a goal oriented individual who is loyal, hard working and eager to learn. I possess an above average knowledge of ales, lagers, wine and spirits. But as a student of the beverage industry, I am always trying to further my knowledge. I have held a number of positions in the hospitality industry that have allowed me to develop invaluable skills. However, it was in my role as bar manager for Restaurant LuLu, Mammoth Lakes (sister to Restaurant LuLu, San Francisco) when my true passion for the bar/hospitality industry was ignited. In this challenging position, I was exposed to a world class wine list and a cocktail program. I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a positive and nurturing management team. Who helped groom and polish me for success. After a long mentorship from two great men, Joseph Merlino and Jeremiah Han, I was allowed to work closely our 'Wine Spectator' award winning wine list. This amazing list featured the fine wines from some of the best old world and new world producers. I was honored and fortunate enough to work with this award winning wine list. I was allowed to develop our beverage program and created featured house cocktails unique to Restaurant LuLu. More recently, I've been quietly mastering my trade and I'm ready to make an impact. I am confident that I possess all the necessary skills and attributes needed to be a positive addition to most teams. I am always looking for ways to improve myself and I find change equal to opportunity. I enjoy being able to further develop myself professionally, as well as personally.
