Troy Skinner and Damon Dokhani, also known as waitwhat, are a DJ/producer duo based in the Bay Area. Troy and Da- mon first met during their time at UC Berkeley as members of the same fraternity. During this time, Troy began pro- ducing as a hobby fueled by nothing more than a passion to make music. Damon, after connecting with groups such as Golden Records and We Dream Worlds, made strides towards becoming a solo performing act under the mon- iker NomaD. After seeing the potential in one another, Damon joined Troy’s solo project, waitwhat, in June 2017.

As a part of Golden records, I serve as a certified DJ, along with helping out with event coordinating, promoting, and advertising.

My own artist brand started almost 2 years ago, primarily used for marketing and branding purposes, along with performing shows and small events around the greater SF Bay Area.

Some of my tasks included data entry, website management, and general assistance throughout the dental office space.

Worked as an Intern, managing canvasing and phone banking within the Santa Clara region for Ro Khana's congressional campaign during the 2014 midterm elections.

Worked for Vemma as a Brand ambassador and a Bay Area team leader. Participated in numerous event setup and workshops to educate new members. Participated in advertising and marketing workshops as a part of our sales education.
