In 2018, USA Today named me Speaker Trainer of The Year. I have spoken at large and small events across the world, raising over $250 million dollars in sales for clients, with a single event resulting in excess of $800,000. Speaking topics included business development, real estate, ecommerce, regenerative medicine, and sales training. During this time I built and led sales teams to help facilitate sales of clients’ products and trained hundreds of speakers in the art and science of sales and influence.

Recognized as number 1 in regional sales for 2011 with an 854% increase of sales and 113% of quota and in the Top 20 of 340 sales reps in both 2009 and 2010. I was responsible for sales of Synthes Spine’s complete line of medical devices designed for spinal/neuro surgery in hospitals and operating rooms. The role involved consistent, successful negotiations with hospital executives at the C-level, including Baptist Hospital, U of L. and Norton Health Care and training staff on the use and implementation of the products.

I was awarded by the President’s Club for consistent performance in the top 10% of sales reps, during my time in the role I facilitated $1.1 million dollars in sales growth while managing a 2.0 million territory. Responsible for sales of the complete line of medical devices aimed at surgeons for use in hospitals and operating rooms. The role included high-level account management, including device training directly with surgeons, accounting, and customer satisfaction.

I received the President’s Club Award three times (2004, 2005 and 2007) for my performance selling pharmaceutical and medical devices to physicians in clinic, surgeons in the operating room, and hospital administrators in the executive suites. As part of my role I established business relationships with ophthalmic surgeons, hospital materials managers, and senior executives while also educating residents and fellows on appropriate application of the products, and consistently exceeding sales goals and expectations.

Graduating #1 from Primary Flight Training I also completed Officer Candidate School, The Basic School, and Flight School. As a Platoon Commander I managed, trained, and developed US Marines. As part of my leadership responsibilities, I designed educational and physical programs, co-developed the LEAD (Leadership, Education and Development) program, and trained Marines in warfighting and basic leadership skills. As an Officer Selection Officer, I consistently met and exceeded recruiting goals for applicants hoping to enter the Marines as officers. During my time in the US Military I am honored to have been awarded multiple citations and Letters of Appreciation.
