Maintains property accountability within the global combat support (GCSS-Army) system and coordinates supply activities; reviews and annotates changes to unit material condition status report; responsible for posting transactions to organizational and institutional property books; determines method of obtaining relief from responsibility for lost, damaged and destroyed equipment; assists and advises the Executive Officer and Company Commander; directs supply personnel in establishing supply and inventory control management.

Generates leads and prospects; interviews and processes qualified applicants for enlistment; prepares forms and documents; conducts formal and informal presentations on advantages of the National Guard (ARNG) to student bodies, civic and service organizations; provides technical assistance in retention and attrition management programs for affiliated units; acts as Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) Cadre during inactive duty training weekend; prepares all assigned Soldiers physically, mentally and administratively for Basic Combat Training.

Preliminary screening and administrative processing, scheduling physical examinations, completion of enlistment documents, and maintaining accurate records.

Develops and maintains all training records; monitors, schedules, and prepares training; assists Marines in personnel actions and schedules service school attendance; advises the Platoon Commander on deployment training; plans and executes unit mobilization plans.

Takes charge of task-organized elements in the platoon during tactical operations , which may include, but is not limited to, quartering parties, support elements in raids or attacks, and security patrols. Monitors the morale, discipline, and health of the platoon.

Responsible for requesting training sites for all suborindate units. Requested school training slots for various courses. Updated and tracked all training requirements through unit.
