I am a seasoned Information Technology professional with a broad skillset in the vision, architecture, design and delivery of large and complex technology solutions. From my modest beginnings as a helpdesk operator I have progressed through desktop support, server support, design, architecture, consultant through to a managing partner role in a technology consulting firm & am currently in a Chief Technology Officer capacity. I have the capability to take on any new technology and personally deliver a solution end-to-end from business case through to production. I have a knack to solving problems including the ability to broker outcomes between conflicting parties. I have the ability to extract business requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions. I regularly communicate at a business level to senior stakeholders and leadership groups and possess the ability to rapidly produce quality, highly detailed technical and non-technical documents & presentations.I have leadership skills and naturally gravitate towards providing direction where there is none and removing ambiguity where it exists. I have the ability to assist those around me in keeping focus and achieve outcomes.I have strong skills in the project management space including the ability to scope up and structure large programs of work into streams and the capability to break the streams down into the granular task level for large technology initiatives.My education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical and Computer Science from the University of Adelaide. I have about 25 years of commercial experience in a range of industries. I have a passion for “getting it done” and I am accountable. I thrive on teamwork and am vigilant in ensuring that those around me are credited for their good efforts.
