Coordination and management of everything IT for the Public Defender's Office.

Workstation Administration Team, Technical Lead. Responsible for supporting the workstation environment, including equipment specifications and policies, configuration standards, hardware and software evaluation, installation, repair, upgrade, and documentation. Microsoft SCCM package design and deployment. Microsoft Installer (MSI)/VBS scripting for software installation, updates, maintenance. SQL query creation for reporting and targeting. Second level hardware and software support for end user devices (1000 users, 1 primary domain). IT case management and incident response. Third level support and instructional assistance for other technicians, including script writing and software packaging to simplify support actions.

Workstation Service Delivery Team, Senior Field Engineer. End user computer support, software/hardware install, break-fix, and design. Included working closely with all IT teams to maintain and improve enterprise wide technical services in Sarasota County Government (SCGOV) and Sarasota County School Board (SCSB). Participated in change management as primary consult on all aspects of the environment where it touched end user computers, including advisement of other entities not directly part of SCGOV, such as the Sheriff’s Office or Clerk of Courts. Designed custom computer images (operating system, all software) for all SCSB and SCGOV computers. SCSB mass refresh included process planning and execution on a minimum of 3000 new computer replacements annually (2 domains; 25,000 users) by VITIL Solutions and HP. SCGOV computer replacements (single and en masse; 3 primary domains; 2500 users) included redesign and migration of 911 and SCGOV Library computers into new active directory and sub-netting. Maintained documentation for first and second level support teams. Served as third level support, instructing other technicians or as the primary technician for large scale or special projects, serious problems, or high profile users.

End user support, break-fix, maintenance, software/hardware installation, and building of standard images for all computers within the Lakewood Ranch location (approximately 200 users). New user provisioning of Active Directory/Exchange identities and data shares. Nightly/Weekly/Monthly data backups and archiving. Software installation scripting. WSUS/SUS maintenance and deployment for Microsoft Updates.
