CurrentAs the Director of Supply Chain at Holy Name Medical Center (HNMC), I am responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain performance, enhance service levels, and reduce costs across all segments of the institution. My role requires a robust understanding of IT systems and the ability to collaborate closely with the IT development team.Key Responsibilities:-Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.-Oversee purchasing, contracting, inventory control, distribution, and logistics functions for HNMC.-Monitor and manage key performance indicators related to supply chain performance, including service levels, inventory accuracy, and delivery times.-Collaborate with HNMC executive leadership and department heads to ensure supply chain initiatives align with organizational goals.-Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.-Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions, including contingency plans for emergencies and disasters.-Work with the IT team to develop data models and governance frameworks ensuring accurate and reliable supply and equipment data.-Define data standards, establish data quality controls, and facilitate data integration.-Evaluate existing technology systems to identify opportunities for integration and interoperability.-Define and implement integration strategies to enable seamless data flow between supply chain systems and other healthcare IT applications.-Partner with the IT development team to design software solutions utilizing supply and equipment data to facilitate patient scheduling.In this role, I am dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency, supporting informed decision-making, and ultimately improving patient care at Holy Name Medical Center.
