As a software engineer in training at Create Coding Careers, I apply my technical expertise and military discipline to develop web applications and software solutions. I work with a team of instructors and mentors who guide me through a coding bootcamp that covers programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node, and many others as well as TA for the ServiceNow skillbridge program. I also participate in hands-on projects and on-the-job training that challenge me to learn new skills and solve complex problems.My career journey began in the US Navy, where I served as an air traffic controller for 10 years. During this time, I managed air traffic operations in various locations, including aboard an aircraft carrier. I earned a Control Tower Operator certificaton from the Federal Aviation Administration, and I am current pursuing an Associate of Science in Computer Science & Programming at Tidewater Community College, where I am expected to graduate in December 2024.I am passionate about using my skills to drive innovation, improve systems, and solve complex problems. I value growth, learning, and collaboration, and I seek to connect with fellow professionals, share insights, and continue evolving in this ever-changing industry. Outside of work, I am a father, a gamer, and a tech enthusiast.
