Damon L. Davis is a former health innovation official at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) during the Obama administration. At HHS he led the Department’s efforts to promote policies and technology solutions to improve access to valuable health and scientific data resources. Overseeing HealthData.gov, he helped expand the uses of HHS data to drive innovative solutions to problems across the healthcare continuum.Mr. Davis is president of the Capital Region chapter of the Gift of Adoption Fund (GOA). GOA is a non-profit whose mission is to fill the void that separates child from family through adoption assistance grants that give vulnerable children a permanent home and the chance to thrive.He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hampton University and a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College of Maryland.
