Community Events Coordinator
Current• Assign and manage staff roles and responsibilities for company events• Responsible for a wide variety of events ranging from small internal meetings to large annual conferences held in urban and rural venues• Negotiate and execute vendor and supplier contracts, invoices, and purchases orders for conference centers, hotels, speakers, audiovisual, photography, catering, etc.• Establish partnerships and maintaining positive relationships with community leaders, non-profit organizations, grantees, and vendors• Consult with teams to confirm and verify event requirements and advise of appropriate next steps to ensure the integrity of the event• Created database of all community contacts, which is used repeatedly to ensure promotion and success of local events• Manage space, hotel lodging, entertainment, and catering for MFH Annual Retreat and Board of Directors’ Annual Gala Dinner• Coordinate arrangements for all Board of Director meetings, grantee orientations, open houses, and press conferences• Processed community sponsorship requests and coordinated the delivery of company promotional materials
