Financial Planning and Budgeting: • Management of all ongoing financial activities of EU-OPENSCREEN ERIC• Lead, build and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of cooperation and accountability• Operational and strategic budgeting• Cashflow management to ensure the financial stability of the organization• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholdersOpex Management and Coordination: • Controlling, especially cost management, and reporting to the General Director• Steer and coordinate external service providers (outsourced accounting function, payroll, tax, legal, audit)Financial Reporting and Analysis: • Prepare and present financial reports, budgets and plans to stakeholders and representatives from the Ministries of the countries supporting the Research Infrastructure• Supervise the financial management of EU grants, including reporting to the coordinator and the European Commission• Preparation and guidance of audits•Supervision and coordination of tax law matters between the Federal Central Tax Office and EU-OPENSCREENStandardization, Digitalization and Continuous improvement: • Implementation of internal financial and procurement processes and corresponding systems Successfully implemented NetSuite by Oracle across various function of the consortium•Manage teams of ERP consultants and Netsuite experts to implement, support and optimise the NetSuitesolution•Develop and deliver a portfolio of Finance Systems improvements as portfolio manager and program owner•Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define the long-term finance systems strategy•Drive Finance process improvement and Automation to create a scalable Finance Systems Solution

• Participate in the build- up of the 5 year company long term revenue plan across Automotive and Internet of Things product portfolio • Team up with Product & Engineering Organization and Marketing & Sales to create and socialize the annual budget and forecast in terms of Operating Expense and Cost of Sales• Set up and socialize new methodologies around revenue and cost allocations to 54 products existing in the portfolio• Full ownership from a financial point of view of the product-specific Profit & Loss statement; reporting deviations and the implications thereof on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis to VP and C-level management • Create and maintain business cases for extended product portfolio and particular customer specific initiatives• Participation in merger and acquisition and/or divestiture initiatives • Implementation (from the standpoint of Finance) of a new EPM system - Hyperion Cloud • Being the financial counter-party in any restructuring activities (liaison with HR business partners and Works council)• People management responsibilities over two junior team members

• Responsible for the month-end financial close OPEX & CAPEX activities for the Automotive business. Ensure process and finance accuracy at month end closing (liaison with Accounting), recurring forecast and budget (liaison with Business Units and Corporate Finance)• Organize the executive presentations, reporting division performance including monthly, quarterly and yearly reviews, budget presentations on a business unit and management level• Lead the annual OPEX & CAPEX budget and forecast initiatives with Product and Engineering Organizations• Liaise with various corporate functions (Business Unit Management, Corporate Finance, HR, Works Council, etc.) on various onboarding and restructuring organization al activities • People management responsibilities over one junior member of the team

• Manage monthly, quarterly and year- end closing tasks: ensure correct classification of postings - according to Group Finance and Global Logistic Accounting Structure standards• Prepare the forecasts of Cost of Sales (COS) comprising of: Purchase Price Variance, Customs and Inbound Freight; explain deviation against budget• Analyze on a monthly basis the Cost of Sales variance (actuals vs. Forecast) and explain the implication with respect to forecast and/or budget (financial planning accuracy)• Initiate, develop, implement and maintain analytical tools (MS Office and BI) to report drivers behind Cost of Sales Variances• Develop financial models to monitor the damaged and scrapped costs for TradeCo markets; follow up on enquiries with respective markets and challenge processes in place • People management responsibility over one team member

• Blueprinting and implementation of a profit margin setting process for TradeCo and global markets• Introducing BI Tools (setting up the reporting infrastructure) across profitability management as part of the profit marg in initiative• Partnering with IT on implementation and training team in the application of newly set up tools; • Continuous knowledge sharing and collaboration - Actively look for opportunities to share best practices across profitability management team and partners• Process management - Partner with TradeCo and global markets in target setting and achieving profit margins; articulate cost and FOB price; the point of contact for any questions on FOB price development; factory allocation; freight and customs; etc.
