In 2019, Dan and his brother Terry started the "Growing the Future Podcast”, where they let their curiosity guide them in conversation with top producers, entrepreneurs, and leaders in farming. Jul 2015 - PresentBrandon, MbIn the spring of 2015, Aberhart Farms were the first in Saskatchewan to apply a unique form of elemental sulphur from Bio-Cycle Solutions, "Bio-Sul Premium Plus". This environmentally friendly fertilizer currently blended in Alberta is a combination of compost and elemental sulphur. The product reduces input costs, improves logistics, and allows farmers to be a part of the amazing sustainability story. Sensing a great opportunity, myself, along with my father Harvey and brother Terry formed Aberhart Ag Solutions to bring this product to market in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We are very excited to partner deeply with Bio-Cycle Solutions to market and apply a fertilizer that goes from grocery store backdoor, and the oil fields of Alberta, to farmer's fields, and back to the consumers table. We are very proud to be in the agricultural business, fortunate to be able to work in the area of sustainability, and blessed with a strong network through which we are bringing this advantage in blended fertility direct to like minded producers.I am focused on the sales, strategic vision, networking, and marketing aspects of the business. Harvey is focused on the logistics and application side of the business, while Terry provides strategic input and agronomic support. Aberhart Farms is involved with the application of the product, while Suregrowth Technologies (affiliated with Agri-Trend) provides agronomy services. We are building a network of "Trusted Applicators" across SK and MB to help bring Bio-Sul Premium Plus to their own farms and their communities. We look forward to strengthening existing relationships with producers, as well as making a whole host of new ones.
