I promote SHARE events and members' research via social media and SHARE email distribution, liaise with Hub SEM on engagement strategy, and prepare regular newsletter of members recent activities.

I am investigating sustainable forest biomass supply and use for climate change mitigation and energy security; leveraging on geospatial technologies for monitoring, prediction and management.

I led a team of GIS, ICT and Remote sensing staff. Activities included system design, prototyping solution development and implementation. I also provide lead technical information for business proposals on GIS and Remote Sensing projects.

Supported the project design, development, and implementation a Geographical Information system (GIS) for Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL). The main tasks undertaken included:• Data collection including studying existing data records both digital and paper-based, digitising, field survey, importing and loading to the geodatabase.• Development of Geodatabase and supporting the database interfaces with other systems.• Design and Developing an Automated Mapping/Facilities Management System (GIS) for UETCL conducted by Data Automation Systems and Solutions (DAS).• Training and database maintenance• Development of User guides specific to the UETCL GIS.

I conducted financial data entry, database management and report production from the Raiser’s Edge fundraising and donor management system at KICC achieving a 100% reduction in backlog and improving real time data operations.

Supported the implementation of Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics Integrated Financial Management Systems (IFMS) in ministries agencies and local governments. Duties included.• Configuration and administration of 3-tier architectures of Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2009 on Windows Server 2008 R2, MSSQL 2008 database and windows 7 clients• Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2009 applications support and training to government staffs.• Setup and administration of Datacentre, remote and disaster recovery sites.• Administration of Exchange Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory for both central and local government staff and computers.• 1st and 2nd line IT support to both central and local government staff on all Microsoft Office products, IFMS application and hardware setups.• Logging, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues both on-site and remotely.• Submiting quarterly reports

I supported the implementation of USAID funded TREAT Project through collection, storage, and management of clinical research and HIV/AIDs patients care data. I also developed user interfaces using VB.NET, HTML, PHP, CSS/JSS, and MSSQL server 2008 as well as provided IT systems training to Centre staff and computing courses to youths on ARV treatmen to improve their adherence to treatment.
