In my current role at Vecna Cares, I support the Director of Programs, Executive Director and in Country teams in management, strategy, technical and operational support for in-country teams. This role includes financial oversight, management, strategic decision making, HR and legal, external and internal business development efforts and representing the organisation to partners that include government and donors.I have the distinct honor of contributing to a dynamic team that's designing and implementing cutting edge technology in low resource settings. In addition to programs in Kenya, Zanzibar and Nigeria we are also providing support for programs in Malawi. Though the specific technology and in country program strategies may vary, our main goal is to help to strengthen health systems by transitioning health facilities and departments to paperless record keeping and analysis. So far we have 30+ sites in Kenya, A Full department in a referral Hospital in Zanzibar, 4 Clinics in Haiti, 100+ sites in Nigeria fully paperless or on their way to paperless operations.
