I currently oversee the audio department at Mosaic Church, and am responsible for mixing FOH for weekly services, training volunteers, and maintaining our audio systems and equipment as needed. In addition, I routinely coordinate with other departments to ensure the success of both internal special events, and facility rentals by third-party organizations.Over the past few years, I have designed and overseen installation on various A/V upgrades throughout the campus, as well as consulting and preparing reports and recommendations for future upgrades and capital expenditures.

Although my freelance work is more sporadic these days, it used to be a full-time gig. Over the past 10+ years, I've had the privilege of working on a variety of amazing projects, spanning multiple roles and industries. -Studio Credits: "Nothing Left to Lose" - Matt Kearny, Sony; "Beautiful News" - Matt Redman, Sparrow; "I'm Still Here" Christa Black, Indie; Big Idea Productions' "3-2-1 Penguins"; live recordings for Upper Room Ministries.-Broadcast: Weekly XM Radio show- "Bill Anderson Visits with the Legends"; Various NPR news and interviews; spots for Jack Daniel's Distillery, Z-Max Racing Country, Goodwill Industries, Tulane University, and many others.-Live: I served as AV systems engineer for Global Cafe', Nashville, TN on countless corporate, music industry, and private events. I've also served as FOH engineer on numerous events over the years, including clients in the house-of-worship, corporate, and hospitality sectors.-AV Design/Integration: I performed audio and acoustics consulting services and oversaw construction of a private 4-room facility, Dutchland studios in Brentwood, TN. I've also performed audio consulting services for many church facilities in the Nashville and Austin areas.-Electronics/Wiring Technician: I performed electronics modifications and fabricated custom patchbays and wiring harnesses for several Nashville recording studios and producers, as well as performing custom wiring and component level diagnostic/repair on a wide array of vintage consoles and equipment for Primalgear, Inc.

I partner with our key customers to design audiovisual and collaboration systems that help them overcome their business challenges and provide positive user experiences. This can include developing standard-based systems that can be deployed at scale, designing customized solutions for spaces with unique technology requirements, or just consulting on emerging technology and trends relevant to their industry. Regardless of the task, I strive to keep the customer's needs first and align my efforts with their vision.

I coordinate with sales and engineering staff to design and price commercial AV systems for a wide range of verticals, including commercial, government, higher-education, house-of-worship, and non-profit sectors. During my time with Ford AV, I have been involved in a number of unique projects, including immersive video-conferencing suites, large-scale video walls, and multi-floor distributed audio/video/control systems. No matter the client, I consistently strive to provide the best, most cost-effective, and well-engineered design for every project.

During my short time with this firm, I performed advanced control and automation system programming, including large scale RTI and Control4 systems. I also gained valuable experience with lighting control and security/CCTV integration. As is often the case with high-end residential AV firms, my job responsibilities spanned multiple roles, including install technician, field engineer, programmer, project manager, and even customer service/support roles, often times all in the same day.

Mesa was my first full-time job when I relocated from Nashville to Austin in late 2007. Although I was relatively new to the residential AV industry, I found that my vast pro audio experience gave me a solid background to build upon. While there, I performed installation and integration of a variety of different systems, including custom home theaters, whole-house and multi-zone audio and video distribution, and basic to intermediate control systems, including URC, Nevo, and RTI control systems.
