Reporting to the Director of Quality Safety & Risk, and Privacy Officer. I created a frameworks to support corporate preparation and education for the successful Home and Community Care Accreditation Primer, for quality improvement plan, and data management strategy for safety reporting. I also supported privacy and risk and patient relations responses and reporting and developed and lead education for the home and community care division and Quality Improvement plan development for the the 2019-20 fiscal year.

In this role I lead a department of Quality, Patient Safety and Risk professionals through change management process including role restructuring, implementation new standardized processes, and creation of a data management strategy. I implemented a data analytics reporting structure to support a new corporate electronic safety reporting system. I was responsible for responding to all legal claims, property and personal claims, as well as the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, Ontario Labour Relations Board, and Coroner's requests.

In this role I managing a staff of seven professionals and lead the development of standardized balanced score cards across all programs. This included the identification of key performance indicators for the organization and development and maintenance of reports to support the operational and financial practice of the organization. I initiated the implementation of a data warehouse to support the automation of reporting, and supported the implementation and maintenance of Business Intelligence program (IBM, Cognos) to support the organization.

During my tenure in this role I was responsible for the maintenance and education of staff in the submission and data requirements for all wait time information across the organization. I devised a methodology to meet governmental requirements for patient Activity Level Reporting (ALR) improved financial reimbursement for systemic therapy program by over 25%. I created a wait time data reporting and coordinated the completion of Multi-disciplinary Cancer Conferences, improving our compliance from 13% to 100% in a single quarter.

The role was originally established to support Oncology, Surgery, Palliative and Ambulatory Services.
