I spent the start of spring in Japan working as a water rafting guide, during my time as a guide I Carried out boat and equipment safety checks, gave health and safety talks in Japanese to groups sized between 2-60, safely captained a boat of 2-9 clients at one time through white water rapids, coordinated with other captains to keep a safe boat distance from each other and If a client would fall into the rapids I would carry out a search and rescue.

I worked at a bar and grill steak house on the slopes of a popular Japanese ski resort during the winter season.
