Involved in the design and characterisation of thin film devices using ferroelectric materials. The project investigated both negative capacitance and tunable properties of ferroelectrics using sputter, pulsed laser, and atomic layer deposition. Characterisation included a range of spectroscopy and microscopy techniques, with current and capacitance measurements.Modelling was performed in MATLAB using a mathematical framework to simulate the existence of negative capacitance and tuneable characteristics of thin film materials.
