As Technical Director of Evolution Dynamic, I am responsible for the development of our product roadmap and strategic growth of the business. My day-to-day responsibilities also include managing the design and implementation of our products, our IT infrastructure, and of course supporting and mentoring our great team. Whilst working within the IT department of a leading hospitality brand my areas of responsibility and experiences included: • Co-managing/supporting servers, backups, and infrastructure of the company estate (this included head office, several dozen commercial premises and remote workers) • Working with 3rd parties to develop and support their software and systems within the business • Enhancing and developing internal IT systems • Assisting in rolling-out new systems and solutions across the estate • Supporting the day-to-day business with regards to any IT issues • Project lead in the assessment, procurement and implementation of a support management system used by all office based and venue management staff.

At a time when CMOS cameras were a new and innovating consumer technology, I worked within a small R&D team designing, maintaining and implementing the latest test hardware and software for 100Ks-1Ms CMOS camera devices per year. These cameras had mass market applications and were being rolled out in to new mobile phones and webcams.Activities included:• Working with a team to develop and extend a new programming language used to control new multi-million pound visual and electrical production test solutions• Designing, prototyping and implementing a new electrical test solution for the CMOS product line, including the hardware PCB and controlling software. The solution offered the opportunity to save £10Ks/£100Ks per test system, of which there were several dozen in plants across the world.

Working in a billion dollar microchip production facility, I was part of a team responsible for the testing, grading and failure analysis of all DRAM and LOGIC product ranges.Areas of responsibility included:• The analysis and reporting of plant-wide production and test line device yields• Identifying and investigating anomalies in device yields resulting from production/testing line issues • Characterising and investigating anomalies in device electrical performance/grading • Managing the test programs and systems that verified and graded post fabrication wafers and assembled device microchips
