Primary Architect of Openfiber Software. Openfiber provides an integrated mapping platform for internal and third party (ISP) use for mapping, CRM and provisioning functions. In this role I designed and build the python based microservice architecture as well as both push and pull integration with salesforce (APEX). In addition, I'm the architect and developer of the Openfiber Networking package which tracks and provisions customer circuits using Netbox for IPAM and DCIM and Salesforce as a CRM to provide a neutral, cacheable layer of abstraction.Technologies:-- AWS Cloud-- Serverless-- SalesForce Apex-- Netbox (IPAM and DCIM)

Architecture and software development for log analysis and tracking piecemeal contractor hours for Internet Archive CD Scanning project. Python stack integrating ElasticSearch/IA/Google Sheets APIs. Used for performance tuning and fault removal of human CD scanning system.

Managed Engineering team. Supported multiple distribution platforms with efficient use of resources. Lead seamless migration of production infrastructure to new hosting provider, lead use of cloud (AWS) services. Worked closely with executive team to execute strategic vision. Provided technical support/guidance to CEO.

To launch, I conceive of the idea and initial business model, recruiting additional founding team, raised capital and worked on the initial architecture. I recruited the executive and active advising teams, managed the enterprise and selected a key advisor to succeed me for Fandor's next stage of growth.

Various positions after aquisition of WAIS by AOL including:-- Web Engineering Manager: Managed the day to day activities of the Web Engineering group from WAIS-- Software DeveloperWorked on the AOL proxy web cache software (which grew from between 100million hits/day to 600million hits/day while I was there)Part of team migrating initial web proxy cache (CERN) to SQUID (which I was helped bring in to AOL)Introduced AOL to Inktomi and helped pave the way for migrationfrom SQUID to Inktomi Traffic Server

Architect of various kinds of information services (primarily Gopher and Web based) which used the WAIS full text search engine as a core component. Developer and Architect of many early (unpatented) kinds of web services. Worked on some of the earliest commercial websites including: New York Times, DowVision on the Internet (first Dow Jones website which included full text search), Rizzoli Correare della Sera (Italian Publisher), Scholastic Books, and many others.WAIS was sold to AOL in 1995.
