Duties:- I am the delivery lead for the GP IT Futures Business Analysis team- I lead daily stand ups, backlog refinement sessions and fortnightly retros for the BA team- I coordinate activities to assess and onboard GP IT system suppliers as part of a major initiative to introduce a new GP IT procurement framework into the NHS General Practice estate- I liaise with suppliers to assist them with achieving compliance with NHS Digital standards and capability requirements- I analyse data and provide management information dashboards to the GP IT Futures programme board - I ensure that resourcing work packages are kept up to date- I provide excellent secretariat support to the GP IT Futures programme board

Duties: - Excellent provision of project support functions within the GP IT Futures project management office. - Acting as lead for risk & issue management across the Digital Transformation in General Practice portfolio. - Successful management of a project to develop a new SharePoint site for the DTiGP portfolio.- Secretariat the monthly GP IT Futures Programme and GP Data programme board meetings.- Coordination and hosting of a weekly design authority meeting- Development and monitoring of the GP IT Futures Microsoft Project plan- Development of the GP IT Futures full business case- Career management of four employees on lower grades than myself.Previous duties:- Acted as lead PMO analyst for the 2017/18 Winter Preparedness programme.- Assisted in the development of the weekly reporting cycle- Administered the process throughout the duration of the programme.- Hosted weekly check in calls with project leads to ensure their projects were on track - Monitored programme risks and ensured they were promptly escalated to the programme head.- Led and participated in several post project lessons learned sessions - Assisted in the development of a post project lessons learned presentation- Presented the major findings to the head of the NHS Digital Corporate Portfolio Office.

In my time spent working for Thomson Reuters, I participated in the inception and development of the Data Citation Index, an end to end search and discovery platform for research data. This product feeds into the Web of Science research platform which is used by a estimated 20 million + subscribers in academic institutions throughout the world. My role in this product primarily involved managing a project to secure the participation of data repositories on a worldwide, multi-disciplinary scale and negotiating XML metadata feeds of their holdings. I and my US based colleague secured and performed editorial work on close to 200 feeds that formed the main content of the product. Securing particpation from a data repository involved lengthy e-mail correspondence, telephone and Webex conferencing and networking at events and conferences on a UK and Europe wide scale.Other tasks I performed included designing views and writing technical documentation for the building of the in-house content management system, devising policies for the location and acquisition of scholarly research data, proof reading and offering constructive comments on technical documents written by my line manager, keeping abreast of developments in the wider digital scholarly research sector by reading pertinent academic papers, twitter feeds and attending webinars, preparing and delivering Powerpoint presentations to explain the scholarly research project to interested parties.
