Hey there! I'm Dan Baker, the creative force behind the UK alternative rock/metal alter ego, Jordan Red. Founder, guitarist, and songwriter, my musical journey includes the debut album "Hands That Built The World," produced by renowned producer Romesh Dodangoda. The album secured a place on the Official UK Charts and received airplay from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! Radio, and Planet Rock. To date “Hands That Built The World” has been streamed over 500,000 times on Spotify and is closing in on 1 Million streams across all platforms.In a previous chapter with the electro-rave group LiA (Life Imitates Art), where I served as the guitarist, we skilfully blended rock, dnb, and synth-pop, resonating on stages at prestigious festivals like Bestival and Isle of Wight. Guided by the vision of super producer Sky Adams, our sonic explorations took on distinctive dimensions, profoundly influencing both our musical adventures and my approach to songwriting since that time.Previous live performances at notable venues include O2 Academy Islington, Download, Bloodstock and Steelhouse Festivals.In addition to my artistic pursuits, I achieved my degree in contemporary popular music at ACM (The Academy of Contemporary Music) in Guildford. With 15 years of experience, I've been teaching and mentoring students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, sharing my passion for music and helping the next generation of musicians.I am available for live, studio and tuition work.
