Dan Barbieri is leader/builder of high performing teams with 25 years of experience in consulting. He is an expert in energy efficiency program impact evaluation, measurement, and verification (EM&V). He has extensive experience evaluating energy and demand impacts, directing large-scale data collection efforts, and developing advanced engineering and analytical procedures.Prior to its acquisition by DNV (then KEMA) in 2009, Dan served as Engineering Manager at RLW Analytics where he worked for 16 years under the tutelage of RLW founders Curt Puckett and Roger L. Wright, Ph. D. RLW Analytics focused on the growing need to evaluate the performance of energy efficiency programs using statistical techniques to leverage the engineering rigor added by Mr. Barbieri and his fellow engineers.Dan has had the privilege of mentoring under two International Energy Program Evaluation Conference (IEPEC) Lifetime Achievement Award recipients: Roger L. Wright, Ph.D. (2003) and Miriam Goldberg, Ph.D. (2009).Dan has 25 years of experience working with energy efficiency and demand response program stakeholders to research and evaluate program offerings. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Syracuse University.
