Senior Technical Fellow
CurrentSenior Technical Fellow: Responsible for managing a 6 member team in writing, designing and illustrating instruction manuals, warning labels and video instruction guides for Graco and Baby Jogger branded juvenile products globally. Products include car seats, strollers, swings, playards, high chairs and more. Work closely with Compliance, Quality, Engineering and Marketing teams in developing labels and instructions. Very knowledgeable with NHTSA and ASTM standards that apply to the labels and manuals. Strong knowledge of European and Australian standards. Other responsibilities include consumer troubleshooting, reviewing all marketing materials (litho, carton, POP, etc.) for accuracy and alignment, and on the safety review team.A Child Passenger Safety Technician and Instructor since 2006. Active with local and statewide Safe Kids Organization. Attending these meetings and safety activities gives a hands on understanding of the consumer in how they interact with juvenile products, in particular, misuse of the products. Understanding the why's of misuse, helps us write/illustrate a better manual and labels. Regularly attend conferences and help work the exhibit booth. This helps me keep on top of new changes in the regulations, 1st hand look at our competitors new products and get feed back from the advocacy groups and care givers who use our products.
