Responsible for developing and transitioning field personnel from gathering hand written notes in the field and entering notes into electronic system in the office to wireless lap top computers in the field. Outcome: increased new case production by 15% and increasing daily time spent in the field by 18%. Redesigned the Clearwater Task Request and Communications System (CTRACS) to emphasize the option of not having to identify oneself to report a Code Violation on line using the CTRACS digital reporting system as well as enabling citizens to submit digital photographs on line illustrating the violation reported. Additionally. all of the related codes reference material and Community Development Code information (Municode.com as well as the Clearwater Citizen's Guide to Code Enforcement) were hyperlinked to appropriate codes violation digital reporting section as well as a map providing the assigned Codes Inspector and telephone contact numbers for each respective inspector so that citizens could contact their assigned inspector directly. Outcome: Submissions to CTRACS system increased 12% per month and requests for hard copy "Citizen's Guides" decreased by 5%.
