Identifying and addressing complex international issues when placing professionals worldwide in relation to tax, social security, contract structure, payroll, transfer pricing, employment law, and HR. Using people, project, technical, communication and analytical skills to simplify complicated and inter-related technical issues into digestible and understandable information/actions/instructions/plans/processes for the operations and management teams. Compliance with external regulatory environments including income taxes, social securities/national insurances, and some immigration by managing and setting up payrolls as well as corporate tax, permanent establishment, transfer pricing and withholding tax issues. Experience with employment and corporate taxes in Norway, USA, Canada, Singapore, UK, the Netherlands, and many other countries to a lesser extent (Denmark, Germany, Taiwan, Indonesia). Familiar with the UNCLOS, EU regulations, social security agreements, and numerous articles in the OECD model tax treaty and the variances when they are applied in reality; this can be to confirm where there is a tax liability at both the corporate and individual level. Particular experience with articles relating to income from employment, independent contractors, permanent establishments, and offshore activities. Creates tax calculators, cost price models, and reconciled databank summaries using Excel skills and tax knowledge to improve financial estimations and efficiency in all departments,
