With over 25 years of experience in the Compensation/ Total Rewards area, I provide compensation consulting services to companies primarily in the Technology, Life Sciences, and Media sectors. I advise senior management and/or Compensation Committees on all types of compensation program design, including Executive compensation, Board compensation, broad-based salary program design, bonus program design, and equity/ long-term incentive program design. Clients have ranged from early-stage, pre-revenue VC-backed private companies to large, established public companies with annual revenues of over $10 billion. In previous executive leadership operational roles, I led the global Total Rewards function for several notable companies, including Fitbit where I transformed its Total Rewards programs for its move from a private VC-backed company to a publicly traded company with $2B in revenues and 1,800 employees in 20 countries. Additionally, I have held executive Total Rewards positions at companies such as Twilio, a communications company with annual revenue of $1.5B; Activision Blizzard, a video game company with annual revenues of $4.5B; and CareFusion, a medical device company with annual revenues of $3.5B.I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. I also completed two years of post-graduate study at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, where I studied business strategy, international business, economics, and Japanese language. I bring a global perspective to my work having lived in six countries and having traveled to ~25 other countries, as well as having run Total Rewards programs in 35 countries. I have also studied Spanish while living in both Spain and Mexico.
