I have taken over a business selling automotive cooling products (radiators, fan assemblies, etc.) and A/C parts to mechanic shops and retail customers. In August 2007, I took on a partner and expanded into South Atlanta. In October 2007, a national competitor decided to get out of the distribution market in NW Atlanta. 1-800 Radiator has taken over their phone calls and inventory as well as added air conditioning parts to our product mix.In April 2008, we bought out an additional franchise in Gwinnett County and now have a second warehouse in Lawrenceville.In August 2010, we took on a small franchise in Eastern Alabama that we are servicing from Smyrna.In January 2011, we bought the Montgomery, AL franchise and are operating our third warehouse there.We have now expanded our product line to include fuel pumps and heavy duty parts.In Mid 2015, we sold the Montgomery franchise and bought the downtown Atlanta franchise. So we now own all of Metro Atlanta for 1-800 Radiator and have 3 warehouses.

My wife and I have opened an Indoor Inflatable Playplace for kids' birthday parties in Gainesville. She manages it (with help from other hired managers) while I build my radiator business.This business closed due to competitive, demographic and economic factors. Without this experience, we would have never started 1-800 Radiator, so we've learned from the experience.

Repsonsible for General Accounting, Payroll, A/P, A/R and Treasury departments.Created store level P&Ls that were used to deal with underperforming stores. Renegotiated credit card processing contract to save over $400K per year. Integrated 2 acquisitions into our system. Revamped processes and procedures to improve efficiencies, keeping headcount flat over 2 year period with increase of 175 stores (50% increase) through acquisition and organic growth.

In charge of accounting $1B advertising spend (manage spend, forecast and budget) and $1B co-op contracts. Also implemented a marketing effectiveness statistical tool to determine what advertising methods work the best for various products in various markets.
