I work in the Core Product & Experiences domain within the Account vertical in our US division, Fanduel, which is the market leader in sports betting and online casinos. My main focus is on developing features related to the KYC user journey.Here are some of my achievements:- I successfully scaled our work to support Fanduel's biggest event ever, the Kick of Destiny commercial during Superbowl ‘23. This brought 2 million active players through the critical business services that we support, such as registration, login, and session management.- I delivered improvements to our KYC journey, which is a critical and highly regulated component in our acquisition funnel.- I coordinated development efforts across multiple platforms (Java, Cloud eng, Frontend, iOS, Android, Data) and worked with various stakeholders including UX research, design, legal, commercial, and security.- I'm part of the local divisional senior leadership group and worked with business partners (HR, TA, L&D, etc.) to continuously improve our internal processes, such as hiring and career promotions.- I collaborated with the Learning & Development team to create development programs.

I worked on a development team that consistently improved Trading Tribe's existing stack of applications and systems. The sports betting content we created supported all of Flutter Entertainment's divisions and its B2B partners.Achievements:- We were part of a Flutter Entertainment-wide initiative that involved 8 teams based in Melbourne, Porto, Dublin, and New Jersey. Together, we successfully implemented a new framework to generate sports betting offerings efficiently. The project was completed within budget and on time, just in time for a major yearly sporting event.- I organized the UI community in Trading Tribe.- We grew to a team of 7 engineers, split between 2 locations (Cluj and Dublin), working on multiple technologies including Frontend, QA, .Net, and Java.- I organized internships and hackathons.

Adopting the latest tech artefacts version and best practices in delivery helped new colleagues contribute to our tool in their first day of work- Participated in secondments with other departments to learn about tools, practices and technologies that can be adopted in my department- Organised a secondment programme for colleagues who were interested in a lateral move to a UI engineer role- First project within Flutter Entertainment to adopt Cypress as an automation tool.
