I started working from the age of 16 and have gained experience in many different fields of employment. I started working in a permanent role for Serco, as a Customer Service Advisor for National Rail. I was made redundant from this position when the department was moved offshore, however another company, Ventura, took control of the office and all of the staff from Serco and I was offered a role of Customer Service Advisor for O2. I remained in this role until an opportunity arose working for Zurich insurance as a Household Claims Advisor. I worked with Zurich insurance until I was once again made redundant when the household claims department was moved to their Fareham office. I then took a permanent role as an office administrator for a local building company that worked in conjunction with insurance claims, the company was named Profix, I was responsible for co-ordinating the whereabouts of employees as required for insurance claims, but unfortunately was made redundant after 2 months as the building company went into liquidation.I've been Self employed, since then, as sole operator of my limited company working on Various contracts.Most recently I have been working as a test analyst, working on various billing and system upgrade projects for Dwr Cymru. I have enjoyed this and now have 2 and a half years experience of systems testing. This has involved all aspects of systems testing, from writing scripts, various levels of testing, reviewing and more.I am eager to keep working in this field. I have recently completed the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level qualification with an aim to progress my knowledge further, in the hope that it leads to more opportunities. I am interested in learning about test automation and other areas of testing.
