After a brief 6 months in a customer service position, I moved to a leadership role in Benchmark's procurement department. In my current role I lead large scale import and cost savings initiatives. I am currently rolling out Private Label and Brand Guidelines with over 200 vendors. I assist in the development and growth of our Retail Catalog. Other duties and responsibilities include; product line expansion, report building and generation, strategic product sourcing, supplier vists/vendor relationship management, FDA product registration, inventory management, freight management, and product information expansion.

I had originally applied as a Inside Account Manager, but the recruiting agent felt I would be a better fit as a CSR. Within 6 months of my CSR role I had proven myself and was promptly moved to an elevated procurement role.
