• Monitor the Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme, using SAP to schedule against resources• Deliver a capital program of $1200K per year and a non capital budget of $400K (this has included new manufacturing equipment, roof strengthening, security fencing, fire alarms, fire pumps, and R&D equipment)• Drive departmental continuous improvements through Lean; Six Sigma; 5S; Quality initiatives• Ensure the site facilities equipment is fully compliant with all UK / European legislation and DuPont standards • Answerable for contractor co-ordination / contractor control, including permit to work systems, 37000 man hours incident free recorded on site 2012• Liaise with the Full Service Design Contractor to ensure all engineering work is completed to time and budget for capital work• Responsible for contractor control element of Process Safety Management and key player in several other elements including management of change and quality assurance• Manage a small number of capital projects to support department (through each stage of project)• Use Key Performance Indicators to drive improved department performance and to monitor associated departmental and site metrics• Accountable for delivery of construction phase of capital projects, 6000 man hours incident free in 2012

• Lead site capital projects through all stages of execution (Front End Loading, Production Design, Construction)• Supervise contractors on site whilst carrying out capital engineering work• Co-ordinate 8-10 minor capital projects at any one time• Responsible for contractor control element of process safety management and key player in several other elements including management of change and quality assurance• Manage construction phase of capital projects ensuring completion on time, on budget and injury free• Ensure compliance to UK legislation and HSE guidance• Member of European Construction Management team and European Contractor safety team
