The main focus of my career and life is to help get medicine to people who need it. I see countless transient obstacles to the persistent issue of access to healthcare and I hope to do my part in breaking down those barriers. I have a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology with Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics with minors in Computer Science and Economics. I have developed a wide breadth of skills during my working career including employee management as a construction foreman, expert knowledge to support sales as a sales associate and interpersonal skills and understanding as an academic mentor, tutor and teaching assistant.As a Client Services Associate at Quotient Sciences, I developed extensive technical and operational skills and understanding. I was responsible for producing proposals and costings for projects comprised of drug substance analysis, drug product development, clinical development, clinical trials and commercial manufacturing. My role involved ensuring the accuracy and quality of highly controlled documents outlining the scope of work required. This involved numerous discussions with a team of subject matter experts, technical reviews with internal teams and finalization following strict guidelines in accordance with international regulations. I also helped collect and organize key business metrics for use by the executive commercial team to inform their strategic planning. I joined Quotient Sciences during the pandemic which provided me with several unique obstacles. I was hired as a remote worker for a UK based team so during my training I had to develop bespoke solutions for myself to succeed while also maintaining my progression within the training program. I developed an efficient and practical workflow to account for the 5-hour time difference to ensure I did not compromise my work. My success in this role demonstrated to me that I perform best as a remote worker. I am able to identify my own shortcomings to address and maintain clear lines of communication with my team and managers.

  In this role I was responsible for collaborating with numerous internal stakeholders to generate proposals and associated costings to support any type of project conducted by Quotient Sciences. This ranged from drug substance analysis to clinical development and into commercial manufacturing. The documents I prepared were then subject to technical review by another internal team of subject matter experts. Discussing with them and finalizing the documents was an integral aspect of this role to ensure the translation of the customer expectations into a contract and budget was as accurate as possible. This role also required management of internal metrics to be presented to the executive commercial team.
