• Supported sales efforts focusing on detailed system design on the project proposal level. Technical engineering support for client meetings. Performed needs analysis, defined functional and security requirements, researched new equipment and technology trends, built engineering proposal packages including a detailed Bill of Materials, Scope of Work, labor estimate, and signal flow drawings.• Designed systems for various DoD departments and other federal agencies with multi-classification information presentation and security requirements. Engineered systems for SCIF environments, operations centers, training rooms, conference rooms, and offices.• Managed other engineering resources for support on larger projects and successfully worked in a collaborative environment with diverse personalities. • Designed commercial AV systems for diverse clients in corporate, government, houses of worship, and education markets while observing industry best practices. • Researched and specified a broad variety of digital and analogue equipment, including switchers/routers, receivers, digital signal processors, video conferencing codecs, streaming content hardware, projectors, video wall cubes and processors, windowing processors, flat panel displays, Crestron and AMX control system processors and peripheral hardware.• Completed and submitted design deliverables using AutoCAD drafting software including accurate device locations on architectural plans, conduit and cable pathways, system signal flow wiring diagrams, and custom connection plate and millwork details.• Coordinated with vendors, manufacturers, and building construction trades on infrastructure requirements for proper system installation and operation.

• Responsible for the flawless execution of 35mm film and digital presentations; interacting with theater guests and employees; recruiting, training, and scheduling film crews; and administering payroll, inventory, and concession management.

• Assisted with two sections of combined graduate and undergraduate lighting design. Guided student groups on development of lighting design plans and proper technical implementation.

• Instructed first year graduate students on proper use of 16mm camera, lighting, editing, and sound equipment.
