Dan Bruce is a writer, veteran Bible expositor and researcher, chronologist, and longtime student of both ancient and modern Jewish history. He was raised in a Southern Baptist home in the 1950s, but nowadays prefers to be classified as a Bible-believer who is non-denominational in faith and practice. Dan retired from his secular service career in 2007 to found The Prophecy Society of Atlanta. He currently resides in a small hamlet on the far outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition, hiked the entire 2,200-mile long Appalachian Trail from end to end seven times to gather information for guidebooks and raise public awareness about the A.T. and its environment (and even a fool catches on it he does it often enough!).
