My role as warehouse assistant rapidly progressed into a hybrid role with the company investing in my Forklift Driving license and Electrical Test and Tag course so I could enhance my skill set and take on more responsibilities. My duties included:• Picker / packer, stock assembly and maintenance, stock take• Forklift driver – moving palettes of stock up to one ton• Electrical test and tag – ensuring all medical equipment was certified up to date and met all quality standards• Courier logistics – covering inbound, outbound stock and loading• Warehouse coordination – supervised a team of three warehouse staff members to ensure orders were fulfilled on time and to quality standards• Customer service phone support – taking calls from the team in regards to stock availability and dispatch times to support day to day operations
