Customize and design dry bulk solids metering equipment. Start with a standard piece of equipment and customize it to the customermer’s specific application. Generate 3-D models and 2-D prints for the customer’s approval, create certified drawings and release to production. Check other engineers work before releasing an order to ensure quality. Support the production floor and trouble-shoot manufacturing issues when issues arise.

Design global platforms of cardio equipment for the fitness industry. Build prototype machines to prove out mechanical design and biomechanics. Participated in market research panels to obtain the general public’s input for ergonomics and styling aesthetics for the prototypes built. Travel to China to handoff initial design work to ensure the design intent is clear and intact. Estimate and/or obtain cost for bill of materials and tooling dollars for the project. Continue to monitor and support the project all the way through to production phase.

Design and model plastic injection molded components for the automotive and non-automotive industry. Generate tolerance stack-ups to apply proper GD&T. Check 2-D drawings from detailers.
