I work as an Employment Specialist based within the ESTEP (Essex Support and Treatment for Early Psychosis) team. I support a caseload of 15-25 individuals to meet their paid employment related goals working using the IPS principals. I support with vocational profiling, CV's & cover letters, employer engagement, applying for work, interview skills and building confidence and resilience. I also provide in work support with the aim of maintaining employment.

Mar 2012 - Mar 2019: Rethink Recovery Point, Southend. In this role I supported a caseload of 20-30 individuals to meet individual goals aimed at improving mental wellbeing. This was achieved through a combination of group work and individual mentoring. I was involved in organising and providing regular timetable of community based activities and self-management courses such as Anxiety Management and Positive Thinking.Oct 2010 - Mar 2012: Rethink Distribution, Southend. Working within the warehouse based social enterprise, I supported individuals with mental health problems to gain confidence and experience whilst on placement. I also supported them to work on CV's and employability, with the aim of achieving individual goals and progressing to mainstream paid/voluntary employment or education.Jan 2008 - Oct 2010: Rethink Employment & Training, Basildon. In this role I worked at the Rethink Pet Supplies social enterprise. My responsibilities were broadly similar with the role above.
