Dan has been in the Mortgage Business since 1994 and is familiar with all aspects of residential and commercial financing. Dan’s knowledge and from his past experiences as President and Director of the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association; where he strived to promote high professional standards throughout the industry. Currently, Dan is associated with Cameron Financial Consultants Ltd. and operates his own firm, Highland Mortgage Corp. Dan understands the lending and underwriting criteria of all the active private and institutional lenders across the country. He’s product knowledge gives him the ability to obtain the best financing available for his clients. At Cameron Financial Consultants Ltd., Dan has also used his relationships to match lenders and borrows for many unique commercial properties. These relations allow Dan to meet client deadlines and requirements, all while surpassing their expectations. Clients are confident in Dan to provide professional service while he works to obtain the best deal available given their circumstances and current market conditions. Dan has directly been involved with owning and operations of commercial properties; this has added to his expertise in real estate and daily business operations. These ventures include, owning and managing an apartment building, a retail business and a hospitality property; summing to over 150,000 sq. ft. of real property. Throughout his experience he has conducted renovations to the 32 suit apartment building, owned and strategically managed the shopping center and a 59 suit hotel with a lounge containing 25 VLT’s. In addition, the hospitality property also included, a free standing liquor store, an Alberta Treasury Branch and a National Furniture and Electronics Store. Ownership has provided Dan with an abundance of knowledge and experience in all facets of business some including Government Boards, Communities and National tenancies.
