Problem solving is a major, possibly main, skill of mine. Four of my top five StrengthFinder skills are key to problem solving - strategic, arranger, learner, and positivity. My other skill, winning-others-over, helps build trust in teamwork problem solving challenges. A problem solving mindset was forged in me by the US Navy Nuclear Power Program and submarine service. Problem solving is a focus of what I teach in high school science classes and Scuba diving lessons. I have been teaching since high school study halls and absolutely love the challenge of motivating and inspiring learning in a fun, thought provoking way. I have enjoyed working with students at Bemidji State University as a Physical Science and Physics lab instuctor and as the Physical Education Department's Scuba Instructor. My wife and I own The Dive Depot, a PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Bemidji, MN. I am a certified PADI IDC Staff Instructor, PADI PSD Instructor, EFR Instructor, repair technician for Scubapro, Sherwood, OTS, Interspiro, and a PCI/PSI inspector. Specialties: IDC Staff Instructor, First Aid/CPR with AED Instructor, Master Scuba Diver Trainer
