Managed portfolios of multiple product lines in the water treatment business. Led product management efforts for existing products and new product launches. Also led the engineering change management process for all of the equipment product lines.

Leica Biosystems is a cancer diagnostics organization and is an operating company within Danaher Corporation. A primary focus was placed on sales enablement to provide the sales organization with the proper tools and resources to sell effectively. This involved the creation of marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and development of role plays to increase sales effectiveness.

This internship was completed during my 2 year full time MBA program at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. The internship project was focused on developing strategic roadmaps for the top three competitors in the plastics industry by analyzing major investments, recent patent filings, and new corporate ventures to aid in creation of marketing strategies.

Managed key projects related to process improvements for Valspar manufacturing facilities, primarily focused on the powder coatings business. Projects were focused on improving product quality, cost reduction, and increasing the capabilities of extrusion manufacturing facilities.

Analyzed spend data to aid in the creation of procurement strategies of acrylic resin and monomer spend. These included make vs. buy strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost model development. This role also included a 3 month assignment to China to share best practices and the creation of cost models for the Asian sourcing team.
