Managed electrical, mechanical, test and evaluation, software and product lifecycle management engineering including all processes and computer aided design tools. Delivered software systems up to1M source lines of code. Risk management of state of the art signal conversion, thermal mechanical, and power regulation technologies. Developed and managed high reliability production and test facilities comprising over 25,000 sqft. Oversight of unionized Operations workforces.

 Technical positions of increasingly higher complexity and responsibility designing digital signal processing and cryptographic integrated circuits and test systems for satellite communications applications. Performed requirements definition and software simulation, computer aided electrical design and validation, and test applications and procedure software. Highlights: Program managed the UHF Follow-on Enhanced EHF Payload from concept through proposal and award. Marketed EHF Baseband Unit products through several government funded studies to determine how to best provide polar region EHF communications resulting in Polar EHF contract award. Architected then supervised requirements decomposition and validated hardware design of the early 1990’s satellite industry’s most complex electronics unit for the UHF Follow-on EHF Program.
