Leading the testers and the software quality function within the engineering department, including:- providing leadership on testing approach throughout the SDLC- improved the team's confidence in their quality, moving from shipping once a fortnight to multiple times a day, even on Friday afternoons!- coaching to everyone within the wider department about quality approaches, cognitive biases, and fallacies like "100% coverage" and "bug free software"- implementation of unit tests, integration tests, e2e tests (Maestro, Cypress, NestJS)- enhancements to CI for quality, feeback and cost efficiency- engineering culture contributions, such as Techcellence (a forum where anyone can bring a nerdy thing to talk & teach about) and User Manual of Me- security testing, engineering advocacy to internal infosec, introducing security-focussed work to the roadmap- coaching testers on testing theory and practice, applying for L&D budget so that we could get an MoT Pro subscription and run a Testing Video Club, where we'd watch talks and debate the finer points of "What is Risk?" and "Do we want ISO:29119?" and "When do we stop testing?"- Plenty of exploratory testing of our React web app, the NestJS APIs and our React Native mobile app
