At the age of 24, I suddenly became financially and administratively responsible for three generations of family members, forcing me to adapt quickly while shouldering the collective responsibilities of my duties. Academically, my experience with data structures and algorithms, both inside and outside formal education, has provided me with the foundational knowledge necessary for developing scalable and efficient software solutions. I have a deep interest in the concept of data invariance under group actions and am eager to explore how advanced mathematical structures, such as central simple algebras, can be applied to software engineering.My path has been far from linear. As a Marine and trainer, I’ve learned that in both the battlefield and technology, adaptability and sound judgment are critical. My teaching experiences have also humbled me, revealing that greatness often comes from unexpected places and that collaboration is our most valuable asset.
