Continuing my career track with Austin Wood Recycling, I moved to Fort Worth following our acquisition of Thelin Recycling to manage the region, plan and prepare for growth.This promotion utilized my cumulative experience with Austin Wood Recycling in all of the following areas:- Bilingual communication with Spanish speaking employees- Production management of auto bagging lines and yard production- Field operations management of clearing and grinding division- Human resource management and development through hiring and training- Source material resource management in the sourcing of materials for soil mixes and mulches produced- Price negotiation through the development of closer working relationships with subcontractors and vendors- Cost cutting initiatives through previously stated negotiations as well as stream lining current production processes to maximize efficiency

Promoted from my position as a Field Supervisor, I continued my career progression with Austin Wood Recycling.As a Production Manager, I was responsible for all mulch and soils production, both bagged and bulk, in both of our spacious 100+ acre facilities.During my tenure, we introduced and achieved mastery of 2 Automatic bagging lines that dramatically increased our output and efficiency.During my last season in this position, we produced more than 15,000,000 bags of mulch and soil, processing in excess of 1.5 million yards of material.

This promotion was a natural progression as my capabilities grew past that of an operator and crew leader in the following areas:- Basic & Advanced equipment troubleshooting/diagnostics & repair- Jobsite strategizing to complete work in the shortest amount of time while meeting all of the contractors criteria- Perfect safety record with no lost time incidents- Ability to train, mentor, and inspire other operators to permanently increase their productivity

I began my career with Austin Wood Recycling as a Heavy Equipment Operator. I moved quickly to become a Crew Leader within the first two years. These years as an operator gave me an excellent foundation of "boots on the ground" knowledge that would fuel and reinforce my transition to leadership roles later in my career.
