I engage with RSA customers to architect the integration of RSA products into their environment, based upon their needs, and industry best practices.

I am currently the technical lead on General Mills' implementation of a formal Identity and Access Management program.

I brought my development background into the IT security operations department at General Mills. I have streamlined a number of different security provisioning/deprovisioning processes across both SAP and Microsoft environments. On the SAP side, I quickly picked up the ABAP programming language, and used that knowledge, along with a in-depth knowledge of the SAP security data model, to architect solutions that enabled several General Mills projects to be completed on time. Most recently, I took point in successfully implementing SAP's most recent Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool without an implementation partner. On the Microsoft side, I took a "hodge podge" of existing scripts used to manage security for new hires and terminated employees, re-wrote them into the latest platform (Windows powershell), implemented source control, change control, and also deployed them to General Mills' standard batch processing system.

I worked as a software developer for two divisions within General Mills. From 2005 to mid 2007, I worked with the foodservice division. I developed a content management system for the division's website. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in developing their customer relationship management (CRM) tool. My work on these projects used .NET and Oracle PL/SQL technologies.My most recent role as an Applications Analyst (Software Developer) at General Mills was from 2007 to 2009 in the grain department. The system my team was responsible for handled all aspects of General Mills' grain operations- from futures trading, to elevator inventory management, to shipping costs calculations, to settlements and invoicing.In particular, I wrote the module used to track elevator grain inventory, and also the module used to track grain freight costs. During my time, I was immersed in how grain is purchased, how it's shipped, unloaded, stored, graded, and milled.

My intern project was to engineer an electrical upgrade kit that was to be included with an air conditioning upgrade offered to Cirrus owners. This project involved electrical system load analysis, fuse sizing, wire sizing, and compliance with FAA regulations.
